Where can I find an XCMD/XFCN to do such-and-such?

Always check the Xtend project first. There are some gems in there, and since you have SuperCard you already have this fine collection. A great many third parties offer freeware, shareware, and commercial XCMDs and XFCNs. Please see the Appendix for a summary listing of these vendors.
