Why won't my QuickTime movies play?

To play controller-based QuickTime movies (asynchronous) you must first set the movieIdle global property to true. Non-asynchronous playback is not affected by the MovieIdle property, and any difficulties with such playback are usually related to path names. In any circumstance in which SuperCard's behavior is not as expected, it is usually a good idea to check the value of "the result" immediately after the statement in question.
