WebMerge's settings are grouped into four categories:
| Sources | Select your source file, set field delimiter options, and optionally sort the records. |
| Index Pages | Select your index template and determine how generated index pages will be named. |
| Detail Pages | Select your detail template and determine how generated detail pages will be named. |
| Generation | Select options for how your HTML is generated, and for automating WebMerge operations. |
WebMerge settings can be saved to a file using File->Save, and opened with File->Open. Previously-saved files can be renamed to a new location using File->Save As.
